hey i just installed my new mtx 4 channel amp. it works fine with my car not started, but as soon as i turn it on i get a ticking noise coming out of the speakers. when i turn the gain almost down on the amp it stops. When  the gain gets almost half way it starts again. i have no idea what the problem is. the ticking stays at a low level too, you cannot hear it when the volume is turned up. im stumped. any help would be appretiated!?!

where is it grounded?
what guage of wire are you using for power/ground ?
if its not ground, i cant think of anything from personal knowledge that would cause this other than a amp defect ;/
but dont listen to me ;p
