Hi, I'm in the process of building and installing a box in my '97 pathfinder but have a question as to how to secure the enclosure to the inside/back driver's side wall?  i'm thinking that it has to come off in case a woofer blows or something, so it can't be PERMANENT but i have no idea what to do.

please offer any suggestions that you think may help?

thanks in advance!

Can you posta pic of loacation and mounting surface for box?

The usual way is not to secure to the side panel but to use L brackets and screw to floor. Just check for brake & fuel lines, wiring, and fuel tank etc before drilling your holes.

If your looking for more security, then I would recommend pulling subs and drilling holes through bottom of box, and use bolts and huge fender washers to mount it. This will make it nearly impossible for theives to remove box with a crow bar without completely destroying it. ( which they will do anyway) But that will buy you just enough time to respond with weapon of choice'97 pathfinder, securing enclosure? -- posted image.

I'll have to snap a pic, but that's good advice right there (the L-bracket mounted to the floor).  Thanks!
