Hello all.  A while back I had to purchase a 1501D in an "emergency."  I am no longer using this amp, but would like some input on the quality and performance of it.  Is it generally under-rated? over-rated?  Is it reliable?  It sounds pretty clean for the short time I've heard it.  I know i paid too much for it, just wondering if it would be worth making some other practical use of it??

The 1501D is massive. 1000 watts of raw power @ 2ohm mono. And it is very underrated. Very nice amp.

At two ohms the amp generally will produce in the neghbor hood of 1500-1700 watts RMS. It is a serious current pig but is a solid amp and from what I remember has a pretty good s/n ratio for being D class
