I'm pretty sure this car is prewired for sattelite radio. Does anyoneone know what the procedure would be to pull it off?

I looked into this about 2 years ago, and at the time it was still a pretty new thing.  They've made it a lot easier to get a hold of the tuners now though, and there are tons more help docs out there now than there were.  I think all you need is the nissan/infiniti tuner and a compatible stock radio  (one with a "SAT" button I think).  The oem tuners you can get from most parts departments at a dealer, but they'll probably charge a fortune.  I've heard lots of good things about this store, which is actually owned by Grubbs Infiniti (a dealership) down in Texas.  Also, people on freshalloy.com and g35driver.com rave about the guys at the dealership ,so you should be in good hands.

From the pictures, it looks like the antenna is a standard dual-wire antenna, so any of the old-school turtle shell ones would work, or any of the new ones if you get a dual-input antenna adapter.  Here's some instructions that were on the Grubbs site for the actual G35 install.

if you still need more info, you could always try the forums at freshalloy.com and g35driver.com.  They have tons of info from all sorts of G35 owners who have done everything imaginable to the car.

Also, I came across this page online.  Not sure if you have the Bose system or not, but it gives some good info to start with.  From what I understand, basically you buy the tuner from the dealer and it plugs in like a cd changer would plug in.

The Grubbs lead was great. Thanks a lot
