Okay, I'm going to build a center console for my '01 silvy and the only way i can make it work is if one fires towards the drivers' butt (when you buckle your seatbelt, your hand would be next to the grille) and the other would fire towards the passenger's knees/thigh. Will this be okay with 6.5's in the doors (factory locations) facing the subs? Just don't want to do all the work then it sound like crap.
Good Luck, Michael M

That shouldn't cause any problems. Will you have enough airspace for 2 subs in that console?

The sound will greatly depend on how the sub is enclosed and how much airspace is behind / infront of it.
