can anyone gimme sum advice please, got a sony cd stereo braggin 4x40w. not to bothered about an amp coz its only works van but what speakers should i get for best sound.2 in back 2 in front. i know it wont be booming but happy with a clear loudish sound. will 60w speakers all round do.or what do ya rekon is best. cheers dudes.

That head unit is probably 4 x 40 watts max, so it's more likely about 4 x 15 watts RMS, which is the measurement that really matters. You're probably gonna want some low power or entry level speakers. Infinity Reference or Alpine Type S speakers would probably be good enough for you. I'm not sure what's available in U.K., but just check your local retailers who sell car audio and I'm sure you'll find those or other speakers that fit your needs.

IN the UK you can get your hands on either the alpine Type-E series speakers, or the Alpine Type-S speakers, both would be perfect.

will it sound ok'ish. just good enough to be able to turn up at my fave tunes. what watt do ya recomend in the speakers u mention.ya really helpin ta. had a blow out in the van today...not gud!!!
seriously ta 4 help coz strugglin for dosh
