Punch P3 needs an amp

I got a Punch P3 4 ohm speaker for Christmas and now I need an amp. I'm wondering if anybody knows whether i need a mono or stereo amp/wattage reccomendation/brand/wiring instructions....anything wold be helpful. Thanks!

So I'm guessin your saying i need a mono amp. How should i wire it? Is JBL the best one out there?

the sub has 2 4ohm voice coils. wire the voice coils in paralell to bring the load down to 2 ohms(positive to positive and negative to negative). mono amps handle resistances below 4ohms the best. they are also a lot more efficient than a class a amp so they will have much less strain on your electrical system. jbl makes good amps for the money. that amp is good if you decide to get a better sounding sub down line.
