Just putthis deck in my Jeep Cherokee yesterday and from what I've played with it, its a really cool deck packed with features. Great adjustability and hands down better SQ than my 5-6 year old Eclipse Deck I had in before. I defiantely liek the fact that you can upload your own pics and make your own movies to be used for the screensavers and display.
Just curious to know if anyone out there has any experience with this deck so far. The only thing I'd really like to figure out is with the OEL Display, after about a minute of leaving the deck alone, the display will revers its colors, whas dark is light and whats light will then be dark. Is thre any way to stop this?
Anyother cool features I haven't figured out yet that I should defiantely know about?

I dont know about that deck yet because I am on vacation right now and havent been in the shop for awhile but if its like the old pioneers then I would turn the unit off and hold the function button.    This will get you into your menu.   Hope this helps

Read your manual for how to turn off the reverse.... I can't recall exactly how I did it with the 8600 from 04.  I think I just kept screwing with turning the reverse and demo on and off. Eventually stayed off. though pretty sure it was prolly just turning the stupid reverse off.

Looked through the mwners manual quick, and I didn't catch anything about reverse in there. On every other Pioneer deck I know you just turn the unnit off, then press & hold the Function button to acces the menu then go about changing the settings that way. Unfortunately there is no reverse setting on the 80MP when I do this.
I'm probably going to give pioneer a call on monday if I don't figure anything out before then

easy solution.... turn the headunit off and press the Band button once. press it again to turn the reverse display off.
