i have 2 10' subs 135 rms 500 peak. 4 ohms each

should i get a mono amp or 2 channel?

also, if i get a mono amp would i have to make sure the rms of the amp is 270(both subs together) or 135? or do i have to buy 1 amp per sub?

For two subs @ 4-ohms each, you will want a mono amp capable of about 250-300 watts RMS into 2-ohms.  Most stereo amps are not stable when bridged into 2-ohms.  Don't buy anything with the name Profile on it, if you can avoid it.

jensen?(if this is a good brand i'm leaning towards it. this amp only has to last a couple of months)

boss?(cheapest but that isn't always a good thing)

Of those three, the Bazooka is probably the most reliable, although all three are really low-end amps (and the Boss is cheapeest for a reason.)  If it's about money and you are looking to spend less than $200, here's a suggestion:
