2 gauge power wire?
The reason I ask is because I just bought some Tsunami 0/1 gauge power wire to rewire my system. I already had 2 gauge Phoenix Gold power wire in there from about 1994.
The wire looks EXACTLY the same. The outer diameter and actual wire diameter are the same.
Did they change the specs over the years, or I am just missing something here?
Just curious.

There shouldn't be much difference. The outer diamater isn't what matters, it's the cross sectional area of actual wire inside the PVC jacket.
Go here to find out the differences in what each wire can do.
