Hi guys,it's been a while.I have a question regarding the install of these gear in my BMW.The HU is a Nakamichi CD 40Z,what i want to do is use the PRE-OUT REAR rca to go into an eq's (PPI-EQP)main input. Now here is the tricky question;i would also like to add an BBE Sonic Maximizer (SM-4012).The BBE has the input RCA's and 2 outputs that run the front or the rears. How do i go about making it work while i'm still using the EQ ?
The eq also has 2 outputs rca's.Could i use the input from the AUX in any way ?,it sounds very confusing but i would like to use both the eq and the bbe.I will be using 2 amps for the entire system, one a 4 channel to run the fronts/rears and one for a sub.Any help here will be apreciated.
Thank you

Ive never used the PPI-EQP or the SM-4012 myself so I have no idea what those are exactly or how they work, etc.
However, I assume you only need the BBE for your subs? If this is the case, I would run the rear output from the Nakamichi to the input of the EQ. The EQ then has 2 outputs. I would run 1 of these to the 4-channel amp and the other to the BBE. From the BBE I would run an RCA to the sub amp.
If the BBE needs to be hooked to everything then I would run the Nakamichi to the BBE first. Then run 1 output from the BBE to the EQ. Then use the 2 outputs from the EQ to each amp.
Hopefully this helps. Good luck.

Thank you drvnbysound,i decided that i would run first the BBE (this is a sound processor that aligns the phase shift to the audio spectrum. It separates the highs, mids and lows so thy don't arrive at the speaker network at precisely the same time, specially the highs so they don't get smothered, since this is only 2 miliseconds it is not perceived as a delay or echo),and then the PPI EQP is a 5 band eq with parametric sub band.
If anyone else has any other sugestions i'm open. For amps i will use 2 Nakamichis, sub a/d/s/rS.2 (12")in a ported box with Focal port, speakers Mb Quart Q series.
Thank you guys.
