I have a 2 year old pioneer deh-p9300 I saw a 1 month used eclipse 8454 for sale for ~$300 Is it worth upgrading? I do like the pioneer's looks but if the eclipses SQ is significantly higher it might be worth it to me.

What does the rest of your system consist of. I wont jump to conclusions and tell you to upgrade until I know that
double-secret reverse-osmosis speaker-cone-induced high-level interference distortion, Its a killer

Well a few months back before my car was broken into I had the deh-p9300 infinity reference 6.5 compnent and infinity reference 6x9 powered with an autotek 5750 5 channel 75x4+150 or 200 and a hifonics 12 I don't remember the model but it retailed for about $130

now no amp no sub wires all torn and while rewiring i smoked on of the front speakers so there is a stock speaker in there.

I'm thinking or replacing the front components with MB Q rce216  ~$190 unless someone can lead me in a better direction, probably keep the rears for $ reasons and get a single JL 10W3 or a 10W6  and a 5-channel amp to power this, I was thinking of getting the same autotek amp on ebay for $225 but then it's kind of outdated I think. so I'm open to suggestions regarding all of this because I can't stand my current setup.

thanks
