Hey im putting new speakers in my 98 camry and ive taken the doors off and got ready to put my new speakers in. My problem is im not sure which wire is positive and negitive. Im inside the driver side and they were a red and black speaker wire, im supposing red is positive and black is negitive. But im wondering about the other doors when i open them up. Anyone know?

Yes, red is positive and black is negative. It's the same for the other door as well.

Generally speaking, red is positive, and black is negative, but I've run into Toyotas before that had it reversed.

Use a 9v battery to pop the speakers and see for sure.  Disconnect a speaker, then connect some speaker wire to the wires running to the voice coil (just strip some wire back and wrap it around).  Now touch the positive battery terminal to one wire, and the negative terminal to the other.  If the speaker pops out, then the wire connected to the positive terminal of the battery is positive, the other is negative.  If the speaker pulls in, it's the opposite.

My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.
