Hello and greetings, new to site.

I previousley ouned a 2003 hyundai tiburon with a infinity system . I liked that hu so much I purchased one for my 1991 corvette. The bose system in the vette is more trouble than it's worth ,amps etc. Need to know where to get the necessary plugs to make this work.

  Thanks in advance,

most bose systems are quite a pain to work with.. i had one in my 94 camaro that is probally the same thing you have in your vette. the best idea here is to get a wiring harness from any car audio shop, and get different speakers and such, re-run wiring to completely bypass amps and call it a day. yo ucan get more into it and add subs and add amps for subs and speakers, but that is more work. if you are intirested in keeping your subs hidden, send me a pm and i can tell you about a guy that makes stealthboxes for that car.

Mike

the biggest problem will be most old bose systems ran a funky common ground output to factory amps. I have no idea what the new inifinity radios outputs are that will be your first problem second is 03 tiburon double din? the vette is din 1/2. if you really want 03 radio in there then I would at least try to get the infinity amp that goes with the radio and go from there. does factory stuff still work in the vette ie amps speakers?

Hello HAWN13,

Sorry for the delay, Yes the the corvette hu and rear speakers and amps work fine . The front speaker amps are toast. What I need is a pig tail to plug into the corvette wiring harness and then I will splice into the Infinity hu which  I need a harness for also. I will have the factory infinity amp plus install new speakers , most likely  infinity speakers. Are there grounding issues considering all fiberglass body ?

Thanks in advance.
