Someone recently stole the radio (Aftermaket) out of my friends car, I said I would install another one for him but that  S.O.B (The Thief)  did a number on the wires; I was able to identifie some of the wires but not all.

so does anyone know where I can find the color scheme for the factory radio harness????

If it's a situation where it's an on-the-road vehicle as opposed to a 4x4, or you're not pulling huge SPL numbers and have to worry about serious vibration, soldering them is pretty much a waste of time and resources(as long as you have good connectors and a really good pair of crimpers).

 I'm a crimper, I have yet to have a problem. Some people like to solder them.

Talking of Soldering I recently Purchased  That  "Cold Heat" Cordless Solder Iron on T.V, has anyone used one before?  What do you think of it?

I've yet to open and use it.
