I am planning on putting a set of new component speakers in my truck and was wondering what cadence speakers were like? The specs look decent and they are only like $70 on ebay. The specific model is CWM6-KIT. I am planning on powering them with a Viper 500.4 amplifier which puts out 75x4 @4 ohm. Two of these cadence speakers in the front and then powering 4 coax speakers in the rear off of the two remaining outputs. For those of you that are familiar, what other brands can cadence be compared to?
Thanks

You are going to run four coax speakers in the rear off two channels?

I wouldn't suggest buying speakers that I couldn't hear first.

I was thinking about it.. I dont know yet though. I may just stick with four and not power the rear roof speakers yet.

I'd prefer not to buy speakers before I hear them, but there aren't many places around where I am that let you hear decent speakers before you buy them. And I have heard that speakers sound different in a car than they do on a speaker wall at a store.

Those speakers are either left overs or ones that get shipped over sea's.  They are not current model speakers in the U.S.  Where do you live?  My shop is in North-East PA.  We have a sound board, as well as a demo truck w/ Cadence door/dash speakers.  I like the Cadence line.  I have very few problems with there products.  They sound great. In fact this is my highest product line for *Sound* speakers.  As far as being a dealer you couldent ask for a better comapny to deal with.

Thanks joe. I think I'll order a set and see what they are like.
