Well I own a Kenwood HU and I like it, for the sonys well Id personaly choose something else

I also have an Audiobahn pre-built, Its loud I can say that.. and it hasnt died on me yet, but theres not a lot of Sound Quality from it
As for the Amp I heard Alpines are great Amps there are plenty of alpine theads here on the forum just use the search button

Overall not to bad for a starter system, it will get loud but I wouldnt expect much more from it

Sounds pretty decent for a first system.  I wouldnt have gone with the sony speakers or Audiobahn subs, but you can always upgrade later.

Personally I would replace the front sony speakers with a infinity or cdt componet set and get a alpine type r or kicker cvr instead of the audiobahn.

Well, now that it's been installed, I kind of like it.  Is it competition quality?  Hells No.  Is it fun for a first sytem?  Hells Yes.  So far I'm happy.

Oh yeah...and one change...went to the JBL 601.1 instead of the alpine amp.  Anyone know if you can put L.E.D.s inside the panel?

Much better than my first and current system:
Visonik 123BP box kit
Sony Xm-D500x amp
old profile head unit from early nineties
stock speakers (not blown amazingly)
(See signature)
don't rush into things...you'll get ripped off
