why does my car sound supercharged?

i just hardwired my XM Radio Roady power to the back of the cig. lighter and i connected rca wires from the roady to the back of my headunit's output (havnt bought the p-bus converter yet). now i heard a winding noise coming from my speakers when im listening to my xm. as i accelerate the winding noise gets louder.
its soo annoying! what do i do?!?

That's generally caused by a bad ground.  You need to ground your receiver to the chassis of the vehicle.

I have had issues with engine noise with that particular model when interfacing it with factory decks and after market decks. I think they have very low output power.
In order to solve it I wound up using rca filters with external grounds.
