Hi all,

I know this is a noob question and i will prob get flamed to all hell for it, but I just need a yes or no answer for this question:

Is this amp http://www.pioneeraus.com.au/car_entertainment/amplifiers/gm5100t/index.html 2ohm stable?

ie) can I connect two 4ohm subwoofers, bridged, in parallel?

I am almost positive I can but because i'm new at this i would just like some reassurance

Thanks

No you would need 8 ohm subs to do what you are thinking.

Two 4 ohm subs ran in parallel = 2 ohm.  So the amp bridged would be running at 1 ohm.

Two 8 ohm subs ran in parallel = 4 ohm. so the amp bridged would be running at 2 ohm.
