I'm trying to hook up a Pioneer DEH-16 into a 1989 Nissan 300ZX and I'm having a problem. The radio will not work unless you connect the power antenna, but when you connect the power antenna, the dash clock, temp display, and courtesy light fuse blows and the radio comes on. Anything advice would be helpful.

You have the wrong ground. The display lead shows ground when the car is off. There is no ground lead on the factory harness ( Nissan grounds it's factory radio thru the ISO brackets) Use the black lead from the cig lighter as your ground.
