Can this amp run 2 alpine 12 type r subs efficently.Will it run both at 600 RMS or just 1

It will be able to run those speakers. Your giving each sub 300W not 600W. Split 600w because that's its output for a mono (single) channel.

That's my opinion. Take it, leave it, or correct me.
