I spoke to an Adire dealer today and he told me some discouraging news about the new MKIII. Aparently, Adire tried producing the subs in Chile but had to move production back to the US because of some "problems". He also said that no one knows when the new MKIII's will be available and that the 12" is only rated at 600w. The reason I ask is that I really want to loose the two 12 L7 subs for one really good sub, preferably a 15", but since my first plan has been thwarted, how do the RE XXX and the IDMAX rate against the Brahma in both SPL and SQ?
My wife will never understand why, lucky for her!

Yes, Adire has suffered many production delays, not least of which was the failed effort to build an entirely new company in Chile.  Yes, 600W is the posted free-air thermal rating.  Put a Brahma in the proper sealed enclosure and you could easily double that input if you want to.

I have two Alpine MRV-1505 amps rated at 900w RMS at 14.4. Would it be reasonable to put one on each coil on the 15" Bramah, that is if they become available within a couple months?

I hate to post two in a row but I have saved the money and want to BUY, BUY, BUY! I have read in earlier posts about the XXX having a slightly higher SPL. I love SQ but also love to play some old Techmaster or Magic Mike about once a week. I have two 12" L7's and am considering replacing them with one XXX15. My reason is that I have about 5.5 cubes to spare, and since I moved the L7's from a 8 cube box in a van to a 3.3 cube box in a trunk I have been overwhemingly dissapointed. I went from blowing my rear view mirror off in 3 seconds to the equivalent of two cheap 10's on 400 watts while using the same electronics.  So now I'm stuck with neither SQ or SPL. I have about 1,600 real watts available and want to know if the XXX15 will suit my needs.

Also, I can't ever seem to enter T/S paramaters into WinISD without conflictions. Why is that?
