Hopefully someone out there has had this problem before and has found a solution. I have installed a AVIC N2 in a 2005 GMC Yukon, with Bose & Onstar. I used a Soundgate DIGISTAR-X interface for this installation. Problem is, I get static/noise from just the driver's side speaker. Oh yeah, by the way that's the same speaker that the chime comes from. None of the other speakers in the vehicle are getting this noise. It doesn't matter if the engine is running or not, as soon as the chiming stops the noise comes. I've moved all the wiring around to see if it was getting interferance from anything but still no good. If anyone can help I'd really appreciate it. Thanks all.

The only solution I've found (Soundgate tech support was no help) was to use the PAC OS2Bose with the seperate chime module. No problems at all.

My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.

try maybe using a adjustable line output integrator for factory amps and the door chime interface. just a thought.

What he said,,,PAC IMO makes the best interfaces,,,the chime module is the CM-1,,,you will need to put a noise filter on the yellow wire between the factory plug and the OS2 Bose or you will get engine whine when the On Star or the phone is in use,,,
