Buying Busted Amp From Ebay

The key word being "EBay," or as I like to call it "Flea Bay."  If you used PayPal you may be able to file a claim and get your money back.

yea the paypal thing is where i doofed out..  i just opend a ebay account and had 0 feed back he wannted me to send western union...  i wanted the amp bad so i did..    we live and learn..  i have filed complante with ebay. and posted this on every audio form i chat on..    the good thing here is we can fix them amp..   i feel for the people who must send this to someone to repair..  

and to think this guy said he is a member of ISAC AND USAC..  i would not do something like this to someone i hate..    i guess it takes all types to make the world go round.

No Responce..  i called his house and his wife said he was not there..   i have told every one for a long time to stay away from ebay..  for audio gear..  in fact i state that in the how to buy page i have on my site..   i went agenst my own words so that i may track down a few 97.3s for the car i am putting together..   i never thaught  some one would do this..  i had got my first 97 from ebay and there was a problem with it..   the guy i got it from paid the repair bill (well he orderd the parts from mouser and i fixed it) he did not know there was a problem he never took the amp below 4 ohms.  i have got 2 others from ebay no problems.....

this guy will not return my email i have been emailing him all day..   and like i said his wife says that he is not home..  every time i call for the past week even b4 i got the amp i was calling to get the tracking number because he does not reply to my email.

i just got an eamil from him a few hrs ago asking for me to take feedback off. he says he did not know amp was broken and asked me what a FET was..  says orion was the only one who worked on the amp..   wel will see where it goes.  i will be fair about it.  if he pays for parts and labor i will be happy and gladly take the feedback off with the form he sent me from ebay..  i may have jumped the gun a bit when he did not respond to my emails but its been a week i have been asking for a tracking number and have got not responce from him.. i mean 600 bux is a lot of money to be playing with  the you know if you add the shipping and amount is cost for the western union its like 680 bux 20 for shipping and 60 to send 600 through western union
