Hello everyone,

i am currently re-wiring my entire car, and i was looking around for some good rca's. One for my subwoofer, and the other two for my pre-outfront, and pre-outrear. I was told Monster is a good set of rca's, but i was also informed that coat hanger & wire is better then that brand..lol.. I currently have one set of DB Link, they are o.k.. nothing special. I was wondering if anyone would know of a good quality rca's? Your help would be greatly appreciated

any RCA cable with adequate shielding will do the job.... dont get caught up in the whole smoke and mirrors part of this industry.....

Yup, as long as it is long enough to do the job, away you go. I made a pair up the other day, 37' long for a boat by twisting up some 16 gauge primary wire and soldering the ends on. Customer had no idea that this could be done.

does the 'twisted pair' setup help with noise cancellation? or is this just more of the smoke and mirrors?

I have never heard a difference I just use cheap rca cable's that make it there. If you wanted a twisted pair just seperat the one pair into two seperate one's and twist them and use some zip ties to keep them to gether or some plastic tubeing. But as long as you keep them seperated form the power should have no problem.

(henry w. ott, noise reduction techniques in electronic systems) but it is very good for protection against magnetic pickup
