Whats the best headunit to buy.  one that has good overall features and good sound quility.  I don't care about price, or size or if it has a flip out screen or not.

You may have to set a price limit, because believe me, head units can be available that are worth more than your car....seriously.

Most people are really fond of Eclipse and Alpine. Pioneer makes a nice unit too.

Whell the alpine is about $5000 retail for the HU and you need the processor to use the HU to its full potential so thats another $5000 retail ontop of that....so $10,000 ish haha.

Yup, this site never really knew too much about Eclipse before I really started mentioning it. I feel that it is by far the best cd player there is when put up against any other cd player in the same price bracket. Eclipse guy up there ^^^^^ knows what I am talking about.

I personally like Pioneer and thats the only head unit I will ever buy. I cant lie and say I never had a problem with any, but for the most part they work good.

Many different eclipse units can be had for under 1200 bucks. They have entry level at 200ish and go up from their. If you want something nice with some cool features you can check out the 7000 series that just came out, Im sure Forrbidden can confirm this but Im pretty sure its under a 1000 bucks.
