I cant seem to find any info on the specs this sub needs for an enclosure.  I was wondering if anyone could possibly design me a box for this eclipse 9122 sub for a scion xb.  I want to take up the least space possible..

so basically the box isnt gonna be all that big?  I could get away with something like 22 inches long and have a little trunk space.   What does the depth of the box have to be?  Thats something i cant seem to find..

The sub is almost as deep as it is wide. IIRC, 11" is about the bare minimum that I would want to give this sub so that it can adequately vent through the pole piece.

ok i got everything built.  Im pushing the titanium with a kicker zx1500.1 amp.  Since im currently working on building the trunk i didnt carpet or seal the box yet.  The sub really isnt noticeably louder than my old diamond audio d6 sub pushed by a 500w rms alpine amp..  Now since i didnt seal the box at all with silicone or liquid nails i can definately feel air leaking out all around the box.  How big of an impact does air leaks have on the loudness of the sub?  The box is built with 1inch mdf - 2 cubic feet sealed..  This doodie should be lovein thumping..

Pull that box apart and glue it properly.

Yes, glue holds that box together and will get rid of most of the air leaks. Once it is glued together run a bead of silicone along the seams on the inside to fill in all of the possible leaks.
