are you keeping your stock hu or are you upgrading it?

if you put a aftermarket hu in then you have a blue wire coming out of the radio that has +12 power when the radio is on if your keeping you factory hu then you should check your wires there should be one with power when the radio is on (if anybody has a diferent idea corect me if im wrong)

if you just wana get it working and want a faster solution just run a wire that  has +12 power all the way to the amp and put a switch to it (you can get your power from the ignition wire under the dash) and hide the switch somewere were its easy for you to reach but noone can see it doing it this way you have the option to have the bass turned on or off.

like i said if some of the info is wrong someone please correct me since its being a while since i do one of these

That's exactly right, but I think the remote wire has a very low amperage.  Running something from any other switched source may send the amp into protect.  at least i experienced this with my Dual amp when I tried to jump it off my switched +12v ACC outlet.

you can just run the remote wire from the acc wire in the factory radio harness.  Just remember that if the remote wire is a smaller gauge than the wire in the harness, it needs a fuse.

On my amps there is a stock power wire to your Head Unit it usally red and and usally goes a complete diffrent direction then the other wires from it.. i just cut the wire casing off a section of that power wire and wrap around my remote wire.. so then when ever your radio comes on it comes on.. some HU even have spots for a remote wire.. oh and the power wire is generally bigger than the others.. but not always
