HI

I was wondering if someone can help me.

I'm installing a Pioneer AVIC-Z1 on a 2003 Kia Sorento EX, I bought the wire harness kit,

I've installed the system but I get no sound from the Speakers, I’ve checked all the connections every thing seems ok.
I know that the system works I had it checked out.

Is there anything I've missed?

Thanks in advance

Does the vehicle have a factory amplifier that must be bypassed?  Have you tested the speaker wires to make sure they are all good?

You might just need to hook up the blue wire on the factory adapter harness to the blue/white wire on the pioneer harness

OK then hook up the blue wire on the factory harness with the red ignition wires in the harnesses. That way it would trigger the amp when the car is turned on. Still, somewhere on the pioneer deck their must be a system turn on wire to hook up to amps for remote turn on. Thats the wire I would be looking for.
