Hi everybody. I'm new in this field and I'm trying to wire a car audio system. I have 99 lexus ES300. I'm putting a 4-channel amp Rockford Fosgate Punch P4004 into my car  which will run all 4 door speakers with the tweeters. Each speaker I want to hook  on a separate channel. The head unit will be Clarion DXZ 655 MP. To wire the amp I'm using 7 gauge wire, for the speakers- 14 gauge wire.  So now I'm not sure about the speakers. Maybe you could advice me what power speakers I can install there, what max RMS can be. Also, could you recommend what kind of speakers to choose.

Thanks.

Or if you want something not quite as expensive Try Infinity Refrence Series. 20% off right now at Best Buy.
And you could get a Infinity Bass Link why you are there to go with them.....
I may be lost but I am making good time.

In my amp specifications I read if I put :

4 ohms load per channel then I'm getting 50 Watts x 4

2 ohms load per channel - 100 Watts x 4

What do you think which configuration is better to use. And one more think about RMS. If I'm choosing the first configuration and put speakers with more RMS then 50 (I mean 60 - 75 RMS). It will be still ok or I should put  speakers exactly with 50 RMS.

Actually the amp will tolerate a 2 ohm load in a 4 channel set up. This would be if you ran 4 pair of speakers, 2 pair parralled on the front 2 channels and 2 more pair on the rear 2 channels.
There is no such thing as free installation!

Yep. I have a 400.4 as well. Good amp, hasn't let me down yet.
