How on earth do I get the rear speakers to play in this Montero Sport? I powered the amp turn on lead......nothing! Fronts work fine, nothing from the rear. The back of the OEM radio had 2 DIN cables on the rear then the regular power/speaker harness. I lost! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Metra has an amp integration harness available for this vehicle: 70-7003. Give that a look and see if it's what you need.
My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.

It has been many many years since I have installed, so I can not be a lot of help to you.  But it sounds to me like your vehicle has an amplifier on the rear speakers.  The amp turn on wire for the amp is going to be in the din cable along with the signal wire to feed the amp.           The easiest thing for you to do is going to be to locate the amp and run speaker wires from the radio to the amp.   I am sure some of the other guys here can point you in the direction of the amp.
