i have a 00 Silverado 2500 with the AM/FM/Casett/CD player in it, i remember seeing it somewhere before where someone added a aux input threw the cd wiring harness since its separate from the HU itself, if anyone knows how to do this or atleast tell me which wire is which i would love it.

I use the PAC Aux-Box with the AB-GM9 harness adaptor. Go on PAC's websight and use the dealer locator to find who sells them near you.

You can do it yourself, it's really easy, you just need this part and they're only sold thru autherized PAC dealers.
