hello gents, what brands make 8 inch subwoofers rated at 12 ohms if any?

Um...may I ask why you need a 12 ohm 8 inch woofer?? home audio??

6 per channel... 2 ohms, perfect.
12 per car... 2 ohms per channel, perfect!
I think ALL woofers should start moving toward higher impedances, personally...
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

I agree, Dave.  16-ohms might be nice too.

BTW, JL Audio has their 8W3v2-D6 which is DVC 6-ohms so could be wired for 12-ohms.

I have an old school 12W6 that is dual 6...i'll hook it up 12 ohm mono to my 200 watt amp...i'm sure it'll wang pretty hard lol

thanx for the insight haemphyst got it right though i am trying to make big sound without having to lose valuable space in the wifes car lol.
