I have a Pioneer DEH-P860MP and it does power on, but it doesnt show any display other than the buttons on the bottom. Could this be a defective ribbon cable or do you think it might be the faceplate?

And also what kind of fuse holder should I wire up? Right now there isnt one because I got this head unit for free. Would this be the correct fuse holder/fuse for it? http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productid=2102784&cp=&origkw=fuse+holders&kw=fuse+holders&parentPage=search

Thanks.

I would put my money on the ribbon cable...had one repaired under warranty less than 3 months ago.

Thanks. Ill have to give it a try. I repaired another Pioneer head unit and it was the ribbon cable that was the problem.
