ok I have the 6 disc changer in the radio, I took my radio out today looking for this RAP wire but i didnt find it and i didnt cut any wires or anything, so when i connect the plugs back into the radio it displays initializing once this stops the radio works fine my tv/dvd works fine as well, but now the radio will not recognize any of my cds that are in it and it displays NO DISC but the thing is full, and it will not let me eject any of the discs. So if any one can help me out it will be greatly appreciated.

sorry to say but we can only wish it were as easy as unplugging it or the batt and reconnecting... I used to work on those as well as most other GM and ford radios for the manufacturer (hey, at least it payed the bills.. I didnt design them) Anyway, those units are transported in a so called "ship mode" which is done by pushing several buttons simultaneously. Once power is connected to them in the car they do a sort of initialization and come out of ship mode. if they are not put back into ship mode before handling them they can wig out. And especially do not tip them upside down.otherwise literally 1 time of tipping or jarring them or flipping them over while working can royally mess those quality P.O.S up.
