hey all new here just have a question or to   -2000 Toyota Celica GTS- i have recently added new amps to my system and i'm having power issues.my problem is that my alternator is only 80amp and by adding the new amps my headlights are dimming letting me know that there is to much of a draw on my alt so i bought a 2fared cap (i wished i would of read more about them before i bought it did not help).my brother mentioned just add another battery.but i'm scared of damaging my alt.what i'm interested in is finding an high output alt that would be suffeicent to handle all my electrical components and still be able to push enough power for up to 1000 watts rms.my current rms is approx. 600-650.  i have searched website after website i can't find any that sells one for my car.any info and help would be appreciated.   sorry for such a long post. i need help do'nt know who else to turn to.

Yes, adding caps to an already overloaded system will only make your situation worse.  Other HO alt suppliers to check out include Stinger, Iraqqi, Zena and even an HO Toyota alt designed for their trucks may fit.
