hey Im thinking of inverting only one sub and leaving the other two regular. I came across this thread about reversing polarity. but my question is when only using one amp and wiring the three in a 4 ohm load, will reversing the polarity on the inverted sub effect the total load?
by the way i'm using the old school jlw6s, and a single enclosure(one chamber)
thanks
mike

That was a good old thread to pull up.  And no, reversing polarity will not change the sub's impedance.

And here's an old pic to go with this:

(it's still a 4 ohm load)

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.
