Hi,

This is the first time I am going to attemp to add a sub to a stock headunit.  I just got a 2004 Camry xle which has a decent JBL sound system so I don't really want to waste money right now on all new speakers and a headunit so I guess I am just going to use a line output converter but if I tap a rear speaker will it affect that rear speaker at all? and is there a loc that can sum the left and right rear speakers into one RCA output? Thanks

there is a loc that will do just that, and it will not affect your rear speakers at all.  most LOC's have an ajustment, (gain) to help out with the sound.  http://www.mysimon.com/Car-Audio-Accessories/9000-11143_8-0.html?mlpid=37540962

So I can just tap the rear speaker wires in the trunk? Is there a better quality loc or is that the best one.  Thanks.
