My first post here.... working on a Cayenne , 2004. Stock factory head unit.

Does it have aux amp ? Or is it run by the head unit only ?If there is Aux amp , where is it located.

Going to fit a Subwoofer , need a way to connect the SubAmp.Easily....

Thanks !   e k i

Notes
The subwoofer amplifier/speaker (located in left rear loading space) has RED / green for battery input, with fuse no. 9 of 5 amperes located in right fuse box. The plus switch wire is red, from the bose amplifier pin A-8 to subwoofer amp. pin A5.

Just to clarify , I have the stock system. No BOSE.No SUB , yet....

Trying to build & fit one.Need to know where I can pick up the signal for the new sub amp and if the stock Cayenne has additional Amp or not.

I was told that there is an amp , either at the back or under the fusebox.... then again I have a manual with pics , that show that the stock system has no Amp....and is only run by the head unit.

OK , still searching for the right answers...

According to manual , .... took out fuse marked for aux amp. Still worked , took out  the fuse for radio , still worked !!!

Anyway , now trying to see the back of that CDR23 , to be sure about the aux amp status , and to see if there is a place already to hook up my SubAMp.

BUT !?!? How to take out the head unit , with out too much force...and possible danage to plastic things around the unit....
