Matching Subs With A Punch 401s

I own an 87 camaro and a rockford fosgate punch 401s, its a 2 channel amp that puts out 100 watts rms x 2 at 4 ohms 200 watts rms x 2 at 2 ohms 400 rms x 1 at 4 ohms bridged and 1200 max at 4 ohms bridged i'm looking for either one or two 12's but don't have a whole lot of money to work with does any one out there have any advice on what subs would put out the best sound being pushed by that amp i did have two mtx thunder 4500's but blew one, i ran both subs of the amp bridged and i bought all this used from a buddy i would like the get something that would sound as good as the 4500's but be less abusive on my amp

I'm not much of a bass head so naturally I'm going to suggest the use of 1 10" or possibly a 12". IMO, I prefer to match brands when it comes to subs and amps. Since ya don't have a whole lot of $$$ to blow I'd check on eBay. You should be able to pick up a Punch 3 10" for around $100, shipping included. Just be sure to check their feedback rating and read all the fine print. Hope this helps.

Slowly but surely working towards something. Not sure what though.
