I know MTX 4ch's are somewhat known for being noisy, but I was just curious to know if their are any cures for this?
I have the RCA's grounded, noise filters on the RCA's and still crazy noise that comes and goes. I'm probably going to end up looking for a new 4ch, possibly an Eclipse.

How is the amp grounded?  Did you read the grounding sticky threads?  What is your amplifier ground return resistance?  What is your head unit?  Have you tried running a dedicated ground for the head instead of using the factory wiring ground?  Fix the problem and can the noise filters.

Chances are the shield of the RCA inside the amp is broken.   to verify this remove the screw holding the rca to the chassis and gently push on it. If it moves more than 3/16 of an inch it is broken where it attatches to the board. it this is the case ley me know and I can let you know how to fix it.
