A friend of mine is interested in installing a double din navigation unit into a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Obviously there would be some dash modification involved as this vehicle uses the oval shaped din and a half Chrysler radio. I'm wondering if anyone has sucessfully installed a double din unit into one of these, and if so do you have any pics or tips for the install? Or is it even possble at all?

You would need to custom make a trim face for the 2 DIN and also have to cut out the mounting hole larger to fit the back of the 2 DIN HU.
