I have a 2000 Nissan Pathfinder with the stock Bose speakers, but a Pioneer AVIC-D3 headunit. There is a factory amp in the back, and there is a small black box next to each of the front speakers (not sure about the back as I haven't taken off the door panel yet). If I wanted to replace the speakers, do I just need to switch out the speakers? Or do I need to replace/remove those amps?

I was thinking about replacing all 4 speakers with Alpine SPS-17C2. What do you think of these?

Thanks

You will need to rewire the system with new wires going to the Alpine SPS-17C2.

So I need to run new wires throughout my entire car?
