I just got the car. I had a 96 oldsmobile Cutlass with a stereo amps and subs installed. Anyway I have all my old stuff and would like to install it in the Buick. The Buick has steering wheel controls for the radio. I never had them before, but I do like them and would like to keep them, but I have a Eclipse radio that has no remote. My question is do I buy a new radio, but if I have the remote why would I use the steering wheel controls. Would it be allright to buy a factory radio that has a CD player and us with the amps. The Buick just has a tape deck. I guess I just want some opinions on what some of you might do in this situation.

is the eclpise remote ready? if it is you can just borrow a remote from a eclpise dealer and program the steering wheel control interface.
