Thinking instead of upgrading an existing sytem I'm going to start from scratch. 1999 Mitsubishi Montero Sport Limited. Head unit(only thing that is a definate so far) Eclipse CD5000. Looking at CDT Audio components for the front doors (going out on a limb here based off of reviews, no one around here carries them so have never heard them), curious about 2 different ones, the EF-61 FG and the CL-61A-25 Pro. Unsure on the back doors, if CDT is as good as I read then would shoot for a 6 1/2" coaxial 2-way. Thinking of the MA Audio HK-598 amp, 4X100 to drive all of them. Currently have 2 Diamond Audio CM3 10" subs, but thinking of replacing them with one 12" sub instead, again, based off of reviews, a TC Sounds TC-1000 12", or maybe an Eclipse 12" aluminum. Thinking the MA Audio HK 898 or same series class D, i dunno, guess that comes down to getting the wiring and ohms right. Choosing MA in that series based off reviews and nice prices. Looking for all opinions and recommendations. I'm not out to win anything, this is purely for personal enjoyment. I like as much mids and highs as I do my bass, nice and equaled out. Listen mainly to rock and metal, and the occasional rap/bass song to show off for people who like that rattle ur head bass..lol. Thanks for any help/suggestions, Tim.

What about JBL GTO series amps? Worth a look or run away?
