Hi all,

Since I fried my dcu 105 and it will be a while before I am going to get another one I have a question for anyone that can give an answer.

Head unit is a AVX 5000 front, rear, and sub line outs, can I use a splitter for the front and rear speakers for a tri-amp configuaration? Componant speakers,,, 300/4 for tweets (4 Focal) and 450/4 for mids (6 focal), Cross overs are on the tweets and am using (currently) the gains on the JL amps for the mids. The thing is I have a lot of alternator noise at this time. I dissconneted the RCA's and the whine goes away, so it is not being induced through the speaker circuits.

Yes this is a question for the more experianced, from a rookie.

You can use a Y splitter anytime you want to send one source signal to two separate inputs.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.
