i was listening to my system earlier tonite, a rockford 12 p212s4 runnin off a sony xplod 1200 watt amp. i was listening to it pretty loud while driving home. about 5-10 min. into the ride, i heard my bass get lower and lower until it finally shut off all together. the blue display light is still shining on my sub, and the warning light has not come on, so i guess it hasnt overheated (it was kinda hot tho). i will take my sub out tomorrow and c if maybe this was the cause. what is everyones thoughts on y this would b happening

u probably did overheat the amp..just because protection light isnt on doesnt mean the amp is fine.. that protection typically guards against miswiring.. you probably killed your amp...

it fought to the very end... till it could fight no more.. you are an amp killer..
