2 jlw3's 300 rms
or 4 infinity reference 10's 250 rms
both would have sealed enclosures built to speaker specs
both would see full power

Vehicle? Size of JLs? Aspirations (SQ, SPL, 'SQL')? Music preference? Amp(s)?

The model #'s of your choice of subs and amps will help...

1200Wrms @ 2ohm, CEA. Not bad. You'd be powering the JL's by double. The Infinity's would each be getting about 50W more than their rating.

The JL's would surely sound awesome, and be plenty loud for me. Yet the Infinity's would give you a little more SPL.

Not full power, for too long at least.

A good bit, I would think, as there is more surface area and you'd be able to push full power to them.

Definately go with the Jls. they will give you a mix of sq and spl, the infinitys are pretty much strictly sq. Jls are better quality anyway
