I am trying to fit a 10" sub under the back seat of my 2000 tundra.  I have about 4 3/4 inch mounting depth.  What should I use?

There is only about 4 3/4 when you take into consideration the mdf that is going to be used on the bottom of the box.  I have checked out the jl stealth boxes and I did not like them.  Does anybody have any experience with the MTX 4510?

I just saw some Pioneer Premier slim subs on their website that have a mounting depth of only 3".

Those were the first ones I checked out.  I would rate their overall performance as maybe "ok".  I would like to try and stay with a standard sub.  Thanks for your input.

If you want to stay with a standard sub, why rule out JL's Stealthboxes? I've never heard one that I didnt like.

I know you are stuck on getting a "standard" sub, but Kicker and Blau both make a shallow mount sub too.

I too think that the JL Stealth Box should at least be given a chance.    I too have never heard one that I wasn't impressed with.
