Ok, now that adire is no more I need to find something as close as possible to the extremis and brahma.  I really liked them.  I haven't heard alot of the other brands, but from whats available to listen to where I'm at, I really enjoyed those speakers most.  The price was nice too :)  Any Ideas?

http://www.creativesound.ca/details.php?model=65M   Right there is a speaker that uses the extremis motor.
And http://www.acoustic-visions.com/~acoustic/products/subwoofer_drivers/shivax/
There is your Brahma.

Well... Creative Sound won't ship to the US... other suggestions? Seems Adire (we know) AND mpyre sites are completely gone...
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

I'm pretty sure he will.  Bob recently shipped stuff to me, and he has US prices on all his stuff.

Kyle at acoustic-visions.com is great, as is Kevin at DIYcable.com as Dyohn linked to.  Bob has a new extremis replacement driver coming out soon called the SDX7.  Kevin at DIYcable has another one already available IIRC, but isn't selling it outside his kits.

Say, Dyohn... How about a Shiva iso-loaded, stuffed TL? Driven by 1kW, real power... OH, wait! Add a SECOND PDX1.1000 for the OTHER woofer!
They doen't call me "haemphyst" for my NOSE, ya know!

Should be damn good.  I am building a dual Shiva-X dipole driven by 1Kw for HT use right now.  Initial tests show outstanding promise.
